Over Free's pageviews

Your site on Free went over its pageviews and events this month. The days it counts on, the day it stops, what stays, and your three ways out.

Free includes 10,000 pageviews and events a month, on all your sites together (What counts). Paid plans never stop collecting; Free does, after a grace period.

What happens

At 80% the owners get an email, and the meter at the top of the dashboard turns orange.
At 100% Free counts on for 7 more days. A line at the top of the dashboard and Subscription say on which day counting stops; the owners get an email with that day, and another the day before.
On that day counting stops until the 1st of the next month, unless you take a paid plan or show the badge first (below). Your site keeps working as before and the script gets its usual answer, but visits are not stored. The owners get an email that it stopped.
On the 1st counting starts again by itself.

Everything you already have stays: your numbers, reports, goals and settings. Only the days in which counting stopped are missing. This does not happen in the month your trial ended.

Three ways out

Any time, also after counting stopped: the first two let Nvivio count again without waiting for the 1st. Visits in the days it did not count stay missing, so the sooner the better.

Show the Nvivio badge. While the badge is visible on one of your sites, Free counts 25,000 pageviews and events a month instead of 10,000. A badge that raises your limit above this month’s count ends the grace days, and if counting had stopped, it starts again as soon as Nvivio sees the badge on a page of your site (The Nvivio badge and referrals). Take a paid plan in Subscription: paid plans never stop collecting. If counting had stopped, it starts again within a few minutes of your first payment. Starter includes 100,000 a month for €14 excluding VAT (Plans and limits).
Wait for the 1st, if a few missing days now and then are fine for you.

Fewer pageviews to count

Bots are never counted, nor time on page, scroll depth, outbound links and downloads. What counts are pageviews and your own events: if a custom event fires very often, such as on every scroll, it may use up most of your units (Events).
