VAT and invoices

All prices on the pricing page and in the dashboard are in euros, excluding VAT. Nvivio is made by Monto Bleu BV in Belgium, so VAT follows Belgian and EU rules:

You are	VAT
A business or a consumer in Belgium	21% Belgian VAT, also with a VAT number
A business elsewhere in the EU with a valid VAT number	None: VAT reverse charged (article 196 of the VAT Directive). You account for it in your own country.
A consumer elsewhere in the EU, or a business without a valid VAT number	The VAT rate of your country
Outside the EU	None

VAT numbers are checked in the European Commission’s VIES system when you order; one that is not valid counts as no VAT number. The Terms of Service (article 6) are what counts.

Paying

A plan is paid per month or per year; a year costs 10 months. Each period is charged in advance, by card, SEPA Direct Debit, Bancontact or another method shown when you order. Paying in the dashboard comes soon; until then we set up a plan for you on request (support@nvivio.com).

Invoices

You get an invoice for every payment, in the dashboard and by email, numbered per year. Where the law asks for a structured electronic invoice, such as Peppol between Belgian businesses, it goes that way too.

Founding customers

The first 100 organisations that take a paid plan keep its price and volume for as long as they keep that plan, also when prices go up (Terms, article 5.7). The pricing page shows how many places are left.
