What Nvivio does not do
Some tools add everything they can. These we leave out on purpose: they need consent, collect more than you need, or would make your site slower. If you need them, use a tool made for it.
Session recordings and heatmaps
They record what each person does on your page, so they need consent, and that breaks the promise of no cookie banner. Microsoft Clarity does it for free and without limits.
A/B tests and feature flags
They change your site for different visitors. That belongs in your own code or a tool made for it, not in your analytics.
Product analytics with user profiles
Nvivio counts visits, not people: no profiles and no identifier that follows someone around. In privacy mode, a visitor is new every day.
Retargeting and advertising pixels
Nvivio never hands your visitors to advertisers and has no pixel that follows them to other sites.
