Account, language and theme

Signing in without a password, the dashboard in 24 languages, light and dark themes, and readable addresses.

Sign in without a password

Enter your email address at nvivio.com/app and you get a sign-in link by email. Signing in with Google or GitHub appears once it is set up. Your organisation is created the first time you sign in.

Opened a shared link, or did your session expire? After signing in you come back to that page. Your browser remembers it for an hour, and only for pages within /app.

Log out through your email address at the top right.

In your own language

The dashboard and the API speak the 24 official languages of the EU: Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish. English is the base.

  • You see the language you chose, otherwise your browser’s, otherwise English.
  • Dates, numbers, amounts, country names and plurals follow the language and region of your browser.
  • What the API writes itself (the story of your period, the explanation of a change, error messages) follows your language too.
  • Choose it in the language menu in the top bar (the globe with the language code) or on the sign-in page. Your choice is saved in the browser and on your account, so it applies on other devices as well, and it is the language of your weekly email.

API: send Accept-Language or ?lang=nl; without either, the API answers in English.

Light, system or dark

Choose a light or dark theme, or follow your system, including when it switches in the evening. There is no flash on loading. The switch is at the top right, also on the sign-in page; your browser remembers your choice.

Every subject has its own colour, the same everywhere: traffic sources sky blue, pages green, location coral, devices lilac, goals gold and change indigo.

Readable addresses

Every site lives under its domain, for example /app/example.com/visitors. Tabs: /app/<your-domain> (Overview), /visitors, /visits/<id>, /reports, /live, /ai, /bots, /settings and /install. Older addresses with the site code still redirect, with tab, filters and anchor.

The Back button takes you back to the same place on the page, and every change of filter or period is a step that Back undoes.

On your phone

No horizontal scrolling, larger tap targets, and the active tab stays in view. Period and filters move under the page title.
