Why is it free?
Free is how most people start, and many small sites never need more. Nvivio lives from its paid plans, from €14 a month, with more sites, more pageviews and extras. We never sell data and show no ads.
And when your site grows?
Above 10,000 pageviews in a month, Nvivio counts on for 7 days and tells you. Then it pauses until the 1st of the next month, unless you choose a larger plan; your data stays. With the badge on your site, Free counts 25,000.

Is Nvivio really free?
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and needs no credit card: 2 websites and 10,000 pageviews a month, with every report. You only pay when you choose a larger plan.
How does Nvivio make money, then?
From its paid plans, for sites with more visitors or more sites. Nvivio never sells data, about you or about your visitors, and shows no ads.
What happens above 10,000 pageviews?
Nvivio counts on for 7 days and tells you by email. Then it pauses until the 1st of the next month, unless you choose a larger plan. Nothing is deleted.
Do I need a cookie banner?
Nvivio sets no cookies and never stores your visitors' IP addresses. In several countries that is enough to measure without asking; in others the rules are not settled. Our page about cookie banners explains it per country.
Is Nvivio an alternative to Google Analytics?
Yes, for anyone who wants to know how their website does: visitors, sources, pages, goals and campaigns. Nvivio works without cookies, keeps the data in the EU and says what changed in plain sentences.
Where is my data stored?
In the European Union, in Frankfurt. Nvivio only processes it for you and never shares it with others for their own purposes.
Does it work on WordPress, Shopify or Webflow?
Yes: the one line works on any website. There is a plugin for WordPress and a template for Google Tag Manager.
Can I move to a paid plan later?
Yes, at any time and with all your data. Paid plans start at €14 a month, excluding VAT.
